Over the last past decade or so, fashion has stolen into every corner of the urban landscape. Michael Jackson’s final resting place will be a solid bronze, 14k Gold plated casket worth $25,000, featuring a plush blue velvet interior and a hand-polished, mirror finish. The casket, called Promethean was ordered last night from Batesville Casket Company and is quite similar to the one used to bury soul singer James Brown. Jackson’s funeral will be held at the Staples Center, the home of LA Lakers on the coming Tuesday.
